What's New in Version 2.1?
Version 2.1 is a minor update to version 2.0. New features include:- New Tabbed Interface
- Improved Time and Pitch sound quality
- Mono Button for Playback (mixes down left and right)
- Improved Compressor settings
- Equalizer has a Gain slider
- Many minor speed improvements internally
- Improved MP3 File Handling
- Splash Screen can now be completely disabled
- Undo and Redo by default no longer restore view settings

The Mono button, in conjunction with the ability to select one or both channels on-the-fly, is useful when treating NGWave as a 2-Track multi-track editor.
The Undo and Redo functions used to restore the view settings, which sometimes becomes annoying. Now, the default behavior is to not do this, though you can re-enable it in the Options dialog.
The Time Stretch feature received serious attention, and currently sounds better than it ever has. The quality is quite acceptable when making changes less than 20 percent, and still much better for larger changes.
The Compressor now allows ratios in 0.1 increments, and the Equalizer has an overal Gain slider.
